Vacuum, air temperature, and airflow in a pipeline milking system are measured at various locations to obtain systemwide data on dynamic variations. High frequency variations caused by vacuum pump operation are attenuated, and slight damping exists. Milk flow causes the greatest vacuum variations within liners during normal milking. Interaction between liners is severe when liner slip or fall-off occurs. Internal air temperature is steady. Mach numbers for internal airflow are small.
