Reorganization of the Board

BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

August 3, 1988

President Van Horn called the meeting to order August 3, 1989, Radisson Plaza Hotel, Lexington, Kentucky. Van Horn welcomed the new Board members: newly elected Vice President, N. A. Jorgensen, University of Wisconsin, Madison; and Director, G. H. Schmidt, The Ohio State University, Columbus. The new Director from the Dairy Foods Division, W. E. Sandine, Oregon State University, Corvallis, was unable to attend the annual meeting. Also welcomed to the meeting was Pam Mitteness, University of Minnesota, outgoing Student Affiliate Division President (Nancy Powel, Virginia Polytechnic State University, newly elected Student Affiliate Division President, was unable to attend the Board meeting); C. L. Moore, Illinois State University, Normal, Third-Year Student Affiliate Division Advisor; and C. Walker, Incoming Chair of the ADSA Resolutions Committee.

Consideration of the resolutions as presented by Walker was first on the agenda. Walker suggested that the resolutions be included in the participants' registration packets so that members could have time to review resolutions and to make changes or additions.
