Position announcement rates, one column wide, will be $50 for the first two inches and $25 each additional inch or fraction thereof.

• Cornell University seeks applicants for a tenure-track assistant/associate professor position in the Department of Food Science. This is a 12-month teaching, research, and extension appointment. Teaching (40%) responsibilities involve courses in food engineering and processing and advising students. Research (50%) responsibilities will be contemporary areas of food engineering. Applicants expressing an interest in engineering principles as they apply to dairy products are encouraged. A unique opportunity exists to develop a strong research program in the department's new Food Processing and Development Laboratory. Extension (10%) involves working with food and dairy organizations on processing technologies including application of computers in process control. A Ph.D. in food science, chemical, agricultural, or other field of engineering or equivalent with an emphasis on food processing is required.
