ABSTRACT

David C. Weakley has joined the Ralston Purina Company as dairy nutritionist for the Company's Chow Division. In his new position, Weakley will research and develop dairy cattle products and programs at the company's St. Louis headquarters.

A native of Pryor, OK, Weakley has a B.S. degree in animal science from Oklahoma State University, an M.S. in dairy science from the University of Wisconsin, and a Ph.D. in animal nutrition from Oklahoma State University. His awards include three Ralston Purina Fellowships. Prior to joining Purina, he was a graduate research assistant in the Animal Science Department at Oklahoma State University.

The 1984 Joint Regional Meeting of the Northeastern Section ASAS, the Northeastern Branch ADSA, and the Eastern Branch of the Canadian Society of Animal Science will be held at the University of New Hampshire, Durham, July 9–11, 1984. Regional association activities will include an award breakfast and a graduate student paper competition.
