ADSA Awards Program

The program of annual awards and installation of officers was on Tuesday, June 28, Memorial Union Theater, University of Wisconsin, Madison. Sixteen awards were presented by representatives of the donors, and citations were read by chairpersons of selection committees. The Association greatly appreciates the continued support of the donors in presenting annual awards to members of ADSA.

CITATION FOR JOHN K. LOOSLI RECIPIENT OF THE 1983 ADSA AWARD OF HONOR

The ADSA Award of Honor is given to a member who has made outstanding contributions to the welfare of our Association. The 1983 recipient is John K. Loosli. He was born in Clarkson, UT, in 1909. He received a B.S. degree in 1931 from Utah State University, an M.S. from Colorado State University in 1932, and the Ph.D. in animal nutrition from Cornell University in 1938.He was appointed assistant professor of animal nutrition at Cornell University in 1939, became associate professor in 1943, and professor in 1945.
