ADSA Awards Program

The program of annual awards and installation of officers was on Tuesday, June 29, in the Eisenhower Auditorium, The Pennsylvania State University, University Park. Sixteen awards were presented by representatives of the donors, and citations were read by chairmen of selection committees. The Association greatly appreciates the continued support of the donors in presenting annual awards to members of ADSA.

Citation for Walter L. Dunkley Recipient of the 1982 ADSA Award of Honor

The receipient of the 1982 American Dairy Science Association Award of Honor was born in Olds, Alberta, Canada, and holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Alberta and a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin. He has been a member of ADSA for 43 years during which time he has provided dedicated and energetic support to various programs and projects. He has participated in numerous symposia and authored or coauthored approximately 140 manuscripts. Most of his research has been reported at ADSA meetings and he previously received the Borden Award.
