Nominations for Miles Marschall International Dairy Science Award

ABSTRACT

Excerpt: An annual research and development award entitled the "Miles-Marschall International Dairy Science Award of American Dairy Science Association" was established in 1980. The recipient, who must be a resident of a country other than United States or Canada, receives an engraved plaque, $1,000 in cash, and travel expenses to the ADSA meeting. Selection will be made by an ADSA committee consisting of a chairperson (nonvoting) and five other members (voting). Nominations and supportive materials by Association members and the world-at-large are solicited by no later than November 1, 1982.

To recognize outstanding accomplishments in research and development outside the USA and Canada in chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, technology, and engineering pertaining to the dairy foods industries. The impact of these contributions on the market place may be a factor in the selection.

Nominee must have made an important research and development contribution to chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, technology, or engineering pertaining to the dairy foods industries.
