Student Affiliate Division Articular

The 1982 Student Affiliate Division of the American Dairy Science Association (SAD-ADSA) held its annual meeting in June at Pennsylvania State University. Twenty universities were represented and participated in business meetings and social events.

The student members had an opportunity to meet each other Sunday evening at an informal Student Affiliate reception. At the reception dairy club members had the opportunity to view other clubs' displays and discuss their respective activities.

At the first business meeting, which was held Monday morning, officers were introduced and the minutes from last year's meeting were read and approved. Penn State Dairy Club was introduced and they announced several activities they had planned for affiliate members. Each officer then gave a short report on his/her duties. After announcements of the increase in Student Affiliate dues and discussion on the Scott Paper Company award, nominations for officers were made. The first business meeting was then closed.
