Jirair V. Karapetian and Swetlana A. Badalians

Department of Toxicology and Food Chemistry, College of Pharmacy, Teheran University, Teheran, Iran

ABSTRACT

After dry ashing, copper content of milk was determined spectrophotometrically with 6-phenyl2,3-dihydro-as-trazine-3-thione. Trace elements commonly in milk did not interfere in determination. The relative standard deviation of the results was 1.16%, and the percentage recovery of added copper was 99.82%.
