Reorganization of the Board

President Muck called the meeting to order at 0830 Wednesday, June 18, 1980, and welcomed newly elected Directors, Gene Freeman and Norm Olson, and appointed Director, Bill Collins, to the Board. Muck reported L. L. Rusoff from Louisiana State University, the host for the 1981 meeting, will be addressing the Board as well as Harold Hafs, Michigan State University, on the Inter-Society Research Committee.

The first item of business was a review of eight resolutions submitted to the Board by the ADSA Resolutions Committee. Following a discussion of each of the eight resolutions, it was moved and seconded the resolutions be approved for presentation at the business meeting of the Association. The full resolutions reviewed can be found in the following pages.

Muck called on Harold Hafs for a report from the Inter-Society Research Committee. Hafs reviewed for the Board the conference held in May, 1980, covering the sessions and attendance. The proceedings of the conference are to be in hard-bound cover, completed, and distributed by September 1, 1980.
