Dwight T. Vines, a native of Newport, AR, began duties as Extension Specialist in the Department of Dairy Science at Clemson University July 1, 1980. Vines received the B.S. (1968) and M.S. (1972) degrees from the University of Arkansas and the Ph.D degree (1976) from Michigan State University. His specialty is reproductive and lactational physiology. Prior to coming to Clemson, Vines was Extension Area Dairy Specialist for the Texas Agricultural Extension Service, Texas A&M University.

The Seventh Annual Meeting of the International Embryo Transfer Society will be held at the Regency Inn, 3900 Elati Street, Denver, CO 80216, January 18 to 20, 1981.

Abstracts of not more than 250 words are invited. Deadline for submission is October 1, 1980. All will be presented as posters, and 10 of the abstracts will also be selected for short oral presentations (10 min for presentations; 5 min for discussion.
