Proposed Revisions to the Bylaws of the Dairy Foods Division American Dairy Science Association

ABSTRACT

Submitted by the Bylaws and Operational Procedure Committee of Dairy Foods Division. J. H. Nelson, Ed Egermeier, R. T. Marshall, W. L. Dunkley, and G. H. Richardson, Chairperson.

The committee proposes replacement of the appropriate sections of the Bylaws of the Dairy Foods Division with the sections below. It is thought that these modifications will retain strength and representation for both the Industry and Business and the Dairy Foods Research sections. The changes should greatly simplify the operation of the Division. These changes incorporate some of the modifications suggested after mailing to the membership and will be presented for consideration before the Dairy Foods Division Business Meeting in June, 1980.

Article III

Organization

Section 1. Officers.

  1. Officers of the Division shall be Chairperson and Secretary.
  2. The Chairperson and Secretary of the Dairy Foods Division shall be the two senior members of the Dairy Foods Council.
