Reorganization of the Board

ABSTRACT

President Blosser called the meeting to order at 0830, Wednesday, June 27, 1979, in the Utah State University Center Student Senate Chamber. He welcomed members of the Board and L. L. Rusoff and J. B. Frye, of Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, who will host the 75th Anniversary Meeting in 1981.

Rusoff requested that the Board consider, instead of the traditional cookout on Monday evening at the 1981 Annual Meeting, a paddle boat cruise on the Mississippi River from New Orleans to Baton Rouge. Buses would be provided for the one and one-half hour trip from Baton Rouge to New Orleans, beginning on Wednesday afternoon at 1300. ADSA members and guests would board at 1800 hours for an evening of dinner and dancing aboard the boat. After some discussion concerning the best day for such an event, Touchberry moved that the host institution be allowed to arrange and plan for a boat trip begining on the last day of the 1981 Annual Meeting.
