Frank Kosikowski, food scientist in the New York State College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Cornell University, was one of the invited speakers at the International Symposium on New Frontiers of Technology, held in Paris, France, April 24 to 26. He spoke on various aspects of food technology including its future role in the world's food and energy crises.
The symposium was organized in liaison with the Grand Ecolesand the Faculte of Medicine of France and was held at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization headquarters. About 1,000 persons attended the series of lectures given by people of outstanding international reputation who are involved in the technologies that will most shape society for the next 20 to 30 years.
Kosikowski joined the Cornell faculty in 1945, after receiving his master's and doctorate degrees there, and has been involved in research and teaching. He is author or co-author of more than 250 scientific publications and three books and he holds eight patents.
