ABSTRACT
The Interim National Committee of the International Dairy Federation in the USA (INCUS) was formed at a meeting of industry representatives on July 20, 1979. Its purposes are to assess the need for a permanent US National Committee of the International Dairy Federation (IDF) and the benefits of US Membership in the Organization.
Elected as temporary officers of INCUS were Fred J. Greiner, Dairy and Food Industries Supply Association, Chairman; Gregory M. Farnham, Dairyland Food Laboratories Inc., Treasurer; and Harold Wainess, International Association of Milk, Food, and Environmental Sanitarians, Secretary.
Other charter members of the committee are R. F. Anderson, American Butter Institute/ National Cheese Institute; Warren S. Clark, American Dry Milk Institute and Whey Products Institute; W. James Harper, Ohio State University; Thomas W. Holzinger, Border, Inc.; Glenn H. Lake and John W. Sliter, United Dairy Industry Association; George Muck American Dairy Science Association; Raymond W. Mykleby, Dairy Research Inc.; John H. Nelson, Kraft, Inc.; Robert R. Zall, Cornell University; and Vincent L. Zehren, L. D. Schreiber Cheese Co., Inc.
