President Glenn L. Taggart's Invitation to the Seventy-Fourth Annual Meeting of ADSA

ABSTRACT

Utah State University is pleased and honored to be the host for the 74th annual meeting of the American Dairy Science Association on June 24–28, 1979, and we extend a most cordial invitaion to you and your families to our campus.

Dairt science has always been of prime importance to us at Utah State University as well as to the State of Utah. USU has an outstanding group of dairy researchers and an eminent and very successful program where a great deal of emphasis is placed on the development of a superior dairy herd and the processing of cheese and other dairy products.

Our campus is situated in Cache Valley where 20 percent of all the dairy cows of the State are located. Cache Valley is also the home of the largest Swiss cheese plant in the world.

We are happy to make our facilities available to you, and we wish you the very best for a successful meeting.
