The Northeast Division of the American Dairy Science Association and the Northeast Section of the American Society of Animal Science will meet jointly on July 23-25, 1978, at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Titles and abstracts of papers for oral presentation are requested and should be submitted on the appropriate abstract form which is available from the secretary. For the graduate student competition, each institution is eligible to have three graduate students entered.

Authors are encouraged to provide copies (100) of pertinent data and conclusions for distribution at the meeting. Legible slides (5 x 5 cm) or overhead transparencies are encouraged.

The original and four (4) copies of each abstract must be received by the appropriate secretary no later than March 1, 1978. Send dairy-oriented abstracts to C. G. Woelfel, Carrigan Hall, University of Vermont, Burlington 05401; and meat animal-oriented abstracts to C. J. Sniffen, Rogers Hall, University of Maine, Orono 04473.
