Triglyceride Biosynthesis by the sn-Glycerol-3-Phosphate Pathway in Milk Cytoplasmic Droplets

ABSTRACT

Enzyme preparations similar in their properties to those of mammary gland microsomes have been obtained by ultra-sonication of cytoplasmic droplets from freshly-secreted milk from goats. Enzymes of the sn-glycerol-3-phosphate pathway in milk have been confirmed through such preparations in vitro.
