Chancellor Joab L. Thomas' Invitation to the Seventy-first Annual Meeting of ADSA

ABSTRACT

North Carolina State University is pleased to host the 71st Annual Meeting of the American Dairy Science Association on June 20–23, 1976. We are honored that you have selected our University for the site of your meeting. On behalf of our faculty and the Administration, I wish to extend a most cordial invitation to each of you.

Our new modern Extension Education Center will be open this year and will be the center of activity for your meetings. This is an excellent facility with sufficient meeting rooms to accommodate all of your program sessions. We are proud of this Center and are grateful for this opportunity to share it with you.

We hope you will take time to get better acquainted with our dairy industry while visiting North Carolina. Through the team efforts of producers, processors, suppliers, and the University, our dairy industry has become a leader in the Southeast. You will see evidence of its leadership in dairy teaching, research and extension at your 1976 Annual Meeting.
