Instructions for Authors of Journal of Dairy Science

The American Dairy Science Association invites scientists from all countries to submit papers for the Journal. Authors need not be members of ADSA. Data in the papers must not have been published except in abstract. Before manuscripts are submitted, authors should have them read critically by others to facilitate review, and the senior author should have authorization to publish.

Papers accepted become die copyright of the Journal and may be reprinted only by the publisher. The Editor-in-Chief may authorize reproducing graphs, tables, and illustrations for books and periodicals.

Charge for Publishing

A charge of $30 per page is to help the Journal report growing research vital to dairy science. Payment of the charge is not a condition of accepting a manuscript. Members of ADSA who certify that neither they nor the unit with which they are affiliated is able to pay the charge may have the charge defrayed by ADSA.

Technical Details

1. Submit duplicate manuscripts to American Dairy Science Association, 113 N. Neil Street, Champaign, IL 61820, Receipt will be acknowledged immediately; an editor will notify the author of the action by the editorial staff as quickly as review is completed.
