Presidential Address

ABSTRACT

President Winegard, Chairmen Morrison and Pearson, Mr. Stewart, members of the platform party, and persons in the audience: On behalf of the members of ADSA, I wish to express our appreciation to President Winegard and his staff for the distinct privilege of holding our 69th annual meeting on the campus of the University of Guelph. The officers of our Association have had an opportunity to preview the facilities — they are excellent and the hospitality is tremendous. We are looking forward to a good meeting.

I am pleased to announce that Dr. L. G. Harmon has been elected Vice-President of our Association for 1974–1975. As you know, this office alternates between production and manufacturing. I am by my training and experience a manufacturing man. Of course I realized, when I saw the cover of this year's program, that there are those who view things from the udder point of view.
