Proposal To Amend Bylaws of Production Division

These changes are proposed according to Bylaws of the Production Division, Article IV, Section 2, in preparation for vote at the 1974 annual meeting of the American Dairy Science Association.

1. To include the Milk Synthesis Committee, this change and addition are proposed: Article III, Section 5, change h) to i) and insert: h) Milk Synthesis Committee (with Dairy Foods Division).
   1) Composition.
   Six professional members of the Association.
   2) Functions.
   To recommend programs for annual meetings related to milk synthesis.
   To stimulate interest in biology of formation of milk and to encourage others not members of the Association to participate in annual meetings.
   3) Procedures.
   The Committee shall choose a Vice-chairman from the two members in the second year of term to become Chairman in the third year of term.
   The Committee shall form its own procedures.
   4) Term of service.
