ABSTRACT

Appointments. . .

George W. Reinbold has been appointed vice president of Research and Development of the Leprino Cheese Company, Denver, Colorado. Announcement was made by Mr. James G. Leprino, president. Dr. Reinbold will assume his position July 1, 1974. Plans for the construction of a complete research and quality control facility at the Denver plant and central office are now being implemented.

Dr. Reinbold received the B.S. degree in dairy manufacturing from The Pennsylvania State University in 1942. Following discharge from the U.S. Army in 1946 with the rank of Major, Chemical Warfare Service, he was awarded M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in dairy manufacturers and dairy science by the University of Illinois. He is a member of the honorary societies Gamma Sigma Delta, Sigma Xi, and Phi Kappa Phi. Professional society memberships include the American Dairy Science Association, American Society for Microbiology, and the International Association of Milk, Food, and Environmental Sanitarians. He is presently serving on the Intersociety Council of the American Public Health Association.
