As has become a practice, I hope to use this column to inform the members of the American Dairy Science Association of activities of the Board of Directors and the progress of the work of various committees. As pertinent issues and questions arise concerning Association affairs, I will endeavor to respond. Comments, questions, and suggestions are encouraged. Each will be carefully considered and wnere appropriate given attention in this column.

The Board of Directors has two standing committees, the Executive Committee and the Internal Affairs Committee. Members of the Executive Committee are your President, Vice President Harmon and Past President Boyd. Your Executive Committee along with Executive Secretary Claude Cruse will hold its fall meeting on October 25. The Internal Affairs Committee is chaired by Vice President Harmon and Directors Louie Boyd and Max Gregory. This committee is charged with special assignments and particularly innovative items.

Your Program Committee, chaired by Jack Albright, will be meeting at the O'Hare Inn, Des Plaines, IL, on October 25, planning for the 70th Annual Meeting of ADSA at Manhattan, Kansas, June 22-25, 1975.
