ABSTRACT
>To the Members of the American Dairy Science Association
The University of Guelph looks forward to having the American Dairy Science Association hold its 69th annual meeting at Guelph, Ontario, Canada, on June 23-26, 1974.
I am particularly pleased that your Association is coming in 1974 as it is the centennial year of the Ontario Agricultural College, one of the founding colleges of the University of Guelph. Many events and conferences have been organized to help celebrate the O.A.C. Centennial and your annual meeting will be one of the largest and most important international conference.
Since your Association's last visit to Guelph--in 1947 --many additional facilities of major importance to agriculture have been constructed. These include such buildings as Animal and Poultry Science/Nutrition, Crop Science, and Research Centres for both Dairy Cattle and Beef Cattle. I am sure these new facilities will be of interest to you.
The faculty and staff of the University of Guelph will do their utmost to make your 1974 annual meeting a memorable one and I look forward to meeting you next June.
