Age Correction Factors for Type Traits in Holstein Cows

ABSTRACT

Multiplicative age correction factors were developed for overall type rating and the four scorecard components of type as scored in the official classification program of the Holstein-Friesian Association of America. The gross comparison method employed first available classification records of 336,253 registered Holstein cows classified from January, 1967, through September, 1971.
