The President's Comments

N. L. Jacobson, President ADSA

Iowa State University, Ames

ABSTRACT

As we begin the new year, I extend to each of you best wishes for 1973. One of the activities of our Association schedule for early 1973 is the annual meeting of the Southern Division of ADSA to be held in Atlanta, Georgia, February 4–7. As in the past, the meeting of the Southern Division of the American Society of Animal Science will be held at the same time in the same place. The Program Committee of our Association is busy with plans for the 1973 annual meeting; the program should have much to offer for every member of our Association. One of the groups assisting with program development is the Milk Synthesis Committee. Both a Symposium on milk synthesis and short papers on this subject will be included in the program. The commitment encourage participation of all individuals interested in mammary physiology, milk synthesis, and milk chemistry without regard to the species studied.
