Your American Dairy Science Association Heritage1

ABSTRACT

Mr. Chairman, Student Affiliates, Members of the Association, guests: greetings to you all. I welcome the opportunity to appear before you today. I consider it a rare privilege and distinct honor to be guest speaker at your annual luncheon. The large attendance indicates genuine interest that student affiliates manifest in the parent Association. When invited to be your speaker on this occasion, I asked a distinguished, long-time member of the Association what I should talk about. "About 20 minutes" he replied without hesitation, with a tone of finality. So, with due respect to my adviser I shall keep that subject in mind while visiting with you on "Your ADSA Heritage." I am mindful of the woeful lack of time to treat the topic adequately and also of your patience.
