ADSA President's Comments

H. E. Calbert

University of Wisconsin, Madison

ABSTRACT

During the coming year it is my hope to use this column to keep the members of the American Dairy Association informed as to the activities of their Association, their Board of Directors, and the progress of the work of various committees. Also, I will attempt to answer questions concerning the affairs of the Association that may be raised by any of its members. You are encourage to send questions, comments, or suggestions. Each letter will receive attention. Where appropriate, the comments or suggestions will appear in this column.

A major problem facing your Board of Directors since our meeting at Michigan State University has concerned dates for our 1972 meeting. Since both ADSA and the American Society for Animal Science were scheduled to meet at Virginia Polytechnic Institute in 1972, representatives from VIP suggested that we might consider a joint meeting. This idea has considerable merit since many of our members are also a members of ASAS.
