Fatty Acid Composition of Lipid Synthesized by Pseudomonas fragi

ABSTRACT

Palmitic, palmitoleic and an 18-carbon acid, possessing one double bond, comprised more than 93% of the acids in the free lipid fraction and approximately 43% of those in the bound fraction (residual saponifiables) from cells of Pseudomonas fragi.
