The President's Comments

ABSTRACT

On behalf of the officers, directors, division officers, committee chairmen and committee members, may I extend the best of the Season's Greetings to members and friends of the American Dairy Science Association. As we watch the days slip by and see 1971 rapidly coming to a close, we realize that it has been a busy year for ADSA. If it is any consolation, we can assure you that 1972 will be an even more active year for ADSA.

This is the time of the year when it is good to reflect a bit and "count our blessings." Persons associated with the dairy industry often are a bit more inclined to complain than to reflect on their blessings. It is true that times are changing. Substitutes and imitations pose real threats for many of our dairy foods. Yet, with the arrival of the holiday season, a spirit of good will and fellowship comes over most of us.
