Milk: Its Nutritional Value at a Low Cost for People of All Ages

Louis L. Rusoff

Department of Dairy Science, Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge 70803

ABSTRACT

Milk and its products contain exceptional food values at a most economical cost. They supply more of the essential nutrients in significant amounts than any other single food. For buoyant health and well-being, whether one wishes to gain or lose weight, dairy products should be included in the daily diet, since the nutrients they contain supplement those lacking in meat, vegetables, fruit, and cereals.
