ABSTRACT

Dr. Jack L. Albright, Purdue University animal scientist, has received a Fulbright grant to undertake research in dairy science in New Zealand.

Albright will spend the 1970–71 academie year at the Ruakura Agriculture Research Center, New Zealand Department of Agriculture, at Hamilton.

He will study behavior of domestie animals. Since he joined Purdue's staff in 1963 Dr. Albright has been involved with animal behavior, management and physiology research as well as extension and undergraduate teaching. He also has coached the dairy judging team.

He will participate in the International Dairy Congress in Sydney, Australia, October 12 to 16, 1970.

Dr. Albright came to Purdue University from the University of Illinois. Active in civic afifairs, he is President of the Lafayette Kiwanis Club. He is a charter member of the Animal Behavior Society and a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

Dr. Albright, his wife, Lorraine, and their daughter Mary Ann, will leave for New Zealand
