Proposed Constitution and By-Laws of the Professional Divisions of the American Dairy Science Association

ABSTRACT

The American Dairy Science Association members approved a revised Constitution and By-Laws in 1968. Under these documents provisions were made for establishing two Professional Divisions, a Student Affiliate Division and Regional Branches. One Professional Division shall be organized around the disciplines and their applications to the production phases of the dairy industry, and one shall be organized around the disciplines and their applications to the processing and distribution phases of the dairy industry.

At the 64th Annual Meeting committees were formed for the purpose of drafting Constitution and By-Laws to be submitted to the members through the Journal Of Dairy Science prior to the 65th Annual Meeting. The following drafts were forwarded to the National Office of ADSA for the Production Division by R. S. Emery, Michigan State University; Dairy Foods Division by R. W. Stachwick, The Carnation Company; and Student Affiliate Division by E. J. Connolly, University of Georgia.
