Announcement on Proceedings of the Second World Conference on Animal Production held at College Park, Maryland 14–20 July 1968

Published for the Conference by the American Dairy Science Association and the American Society of Animal Science. The proceedings include the latest information presented by more than 210 of the world's well known animal scientists from 60 countries on animal production addressed to the Conference theme, The Role of Animal Science in Meeting World Food Needs. The volume carries 30 full length invited papers largely in English, along with résumés of the discussions and paper summaries in English, French, and Spanish, and 186 contributed-paper abstracts in the three languages. The volume, cloth bound according to library specifications and numbering about 430 pages, is available at a price of $10 United States money, postage included. Prepublication orders postmarked prior to April 1, 1969, are priced at $8 U.S. money. Those registered at the Conference will receive a prepaid copy.
