ABSTRACT
The Nominating Committee of the American Dairy Science Association has selected the following slate for officers: For Vice-President from the Manufacturing Section, H. E. Calbert and V. H. Nielsen; for Director from the Manufacturing Section, L. G. Harmon and J. O. Young; for Director from the Production Section, T. H. Blosser and C. A. Lassiter.
Biographical Information
HAROLD E. CALBERT
Received B.A. degree from Allegheny College (1939); M.S. (1947) and Ph.D. (1948) from University of Wisconsin. After serving in Armed Forces during WW II, joined staff of the University of Wisconsin as an instructor in 1948. Appointed Professor of Dairy and Food Industries in 1960, and has been Chairman of the Department of Food Science and Industries since 1961.
Research work has been in the field of food plant sanitation and quality control, food in gredients, dairy and food chemistry. Has taught courses in fluid milk processing, sanitation and quality control, food ingredients, dairy and food chemistry.
