ABSTRACT

Henry Uihlein Recipient of Highest Jersey Cattle Club Award

Henry Uihlein, owner of Heaven Hill Farms, Lake Placid Club, New York, and Lynn, Indiana, received the highest honor available to a member of The American Jersey Cattle Club, the Master Breeder Award for 1968.

Presentation was made at the Centennial Meeting of The American Jersey Cattle Club, Columbus, Ohio, on October 11, 1968. It was witnessed by an international gathering of Jersey breeders who attended the 6th International Conference of the World Jersey Cattle Bureau in Columbus, Ohio, during the lOOth anniversary celebration of the U.S. group.

Mr. Uihlein is the 24th recipient of the Master Breeder Award which is bestowed annually upon the living member of The American Jersey Cattle Club who has bred outstanding animals for many years and made a contribution to the breed in the United States.

During 27 years Mr. Uihlein has been breeding registered Jerseys.
