ABSTRACT
OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT
To the Members of the American Dairy Science Association:
The Ohio State University is pleased indeed to be able to host the 63rd annual scientific meeting of the American Dairy Science Association, June 16–20, 1968.
Ohio is an important dairy state with dairy products being the largest single source of farm income. And this University, as Ohio's only land-grant institution, is at the forefront of dairy research aimed at increasing efficiency and boosting production from Ohio herds.
We hope that during your visit to Ohio you will take time to see some of the truly outstanding dairy plants here and also to observe the work of our faculty on the Columbus campus and at the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center in Wooster. A recent proposal by Ohio Governor James A. Rhodes to bring the headquarters of the six major dairy cattle associations to Columbus could make our campus an international dairy center.
