The Nominating Committee of the American Dairy Science Association has selected the following slate of officers: For vice-president from the Production Section, Ralph E. Erb and Harry A. Herman; For director from the Extension Section, J. S. Taylor and Donald E. Voelker; For director from the Industry and Business Section, Burdett Heinemann and D. H. Jacobsen.

RALPH E. ERB

Ralph E. Erb is Professor of Animal Physiology and Assistant Head of the Department of Animal Sciences, Purdue University, and leader of the Dairy Section of the combined departments. Born in Jerseyville, Illinois, May 28, 1917. B.S. University of Illinois, 1940; M.S. Purdue University, 1942; Ph.D. Purdue University, 1947.

Assistant Professor 1947, Associate Professor 1947–53, and Professor of Dairy Science 1954–62 at Washington State University. Communication officer USNR, 1943–46.

Positions, offices, committees in ADSA: Secretary of Western Section, 1948–50; Breeds Relations, 1951–53, Chairman, 1952–53; Secretary, 1953, Vice-Chairman, 1954, and Chairman of Production Section, 1955.
