ABSTRACT
dl-
-tocopheryl acetate was administered to cows by intramuscular injection and orally in boluses to test the feasibility of using such treatments for the practical control of oxidized flavor in milk. On the basis of the observed changes in the concentration of tocopherol, scores for intensity of oxidized flavor, and results of TBA tests, it was concluded that intermittent administration of relatively large doses (6g) of dl-
-tocopheryl acetate is not promising as a practical method for control of oxidized flavor in milk.
