Memorial

K. R. Johnson 1918–1966

ABSTRACT

Dr. and Mrs. Kenneth R. Johnson were killed and their 16 year old son critically injured July 28, 1966, near Greenfield, Indiana.

Dr. Johnson had been a member of the University of Idaho department of dairy science faculty since 1954, doing extensive research on the classification of dairy cattle and on diseases affecting them. He also taught courses in dairy science.

A native of Detroit, Dr. Johnson was born May 26, 1918. He was graduated from West Virginia Universtiy in 1943 and received his master's degree from that institution in 1947. A year before joining the Idaho faculty he was awarded a doctorate degree from Purdue University, Lafayette.

Dr. Johnson is survived by two sons, Richard C. and Kenneth R. Jr.
