ABSTRACT

Gilbert H. Hood, Jr. was recipient of an award for Business and Sociological Advaneement presented by the Boston Chapter of the Society for the Advancement of Management recently. The award was made in recognition of the company's leadership in the dairy industry and community affairs, including the Milk Industry Foundation, Boston YMCA, Winchester Hospital, the Greater G. tt. Hood, Jr, Boston Chamber of Commerce, Massachusetts Safety Council, and many others throughout New England.

C. A. Ernstrom Appointed to Staff at Utah State

Dr. C. A. Ernstrom joined the Dairy Science staff at Utah State University on September 1, 1965. He has been on the Dairy and Food Industry staff at the University of Wisconsin since completing his Ph.D. degree at that institution in 1956. He was employed for a short time by the Chr. Hansen Laboratories at Milwaukee, Wiseonsin. Dr. Ernstrom is a native of Utah and received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Dairy C. A. Ernstrom Manufacturing at Utah State University. He will be in charge of the dairy manufacturing work in the Department of Dairy Seience with assignments in teaching and research.
