Graduate Student Paper Presentation Contest 1966 Annual Meeting American Dairy Science Association

Graduate student affiliate members are again encouraged to participate in this important phase of the Association's activities. At last year's meeting, many of the eighteen papers presented in this contest were among the best at the entire meeting. Several excellent papers were presented, however, by student affiliate members who had not entered the contest. Regular members are urged to encourage graduate students to participate in this activity. It is an excellent way to improve the overall quality of all papers presented at the meeting and helps to focus attention on the new crop of young dairy scientists. Greater effort should be made by advisors to provide and promote competition at the local level for contestants. Each institution is entitled to enter one participant in each contest (Production and Manufacturing). Participants must be student affiliate members.
