Nominations for Officers of the American Dairy Science Association

ABSTRACT

Progress in the American Dairy Science Association depends upon membership participation in its various programs and the caliber of leadership elected. Therefore, it is exceedingly important that each ADSA member give serious consideration to nominations to fill the following positions in 1966–1967

  1. Vice-President from the Manufacturing area. The electee succeeds to the presidency.
  2. One director from the Manufacturing area to serve for three years.
  3. One director from the Production area to serve for three years.

Inasmuch as ADSA covers a broad spectrum of activities, representation of as many different major interests as possible in the Executive Board is important. Thus, all members are urged to give attention to the prospective nominee's background and affiliation, as well as to his other leadership qualifications.

Each member will receive special forms on which to submit nominations. These will be assembled and transmitted to the Nominating Committee, which has the responsibility of selecting from the nominees two candidates for each position.
