Dairy Conferences to be Held at Purdue

ABSTRACT

The Dairy Fieldmen's Conference will be held on November 16 and the Plant Sanitation Conference on November 17, in the Memorial Center at Purdue University.

The fieldmen's conference will include papers on Controlling Mastitis, by A. R. Smith, Wisconsin State Department of Agriculture; Modern Manure Handling Systems for Dairymen, by Robert Maddox, Michigan State University; What is Needed for Dairying Today, by J. S. Spiker, Michigan State University, and a panel discussion on Current Questions in Dairying. The luncheon program will feature timely Round Table discussions led by the speakers on the program and with Purdue staff members.

The plants sanitation conference will feature a discussion on Sources of Psychrophiles and Their Growth Rates, by C. E. Parmelee, Purdue University; Prevention of Post Pasteurization Contamination by Bernard Liska, Purdue University; Meeting Changes in Interstate Milk Shipper's Agreements and the New Ordinance and Code, by Herb Vaux, Indiana State Board of Health, and Meeting Inspection Requirements, by R. H. Wilson, U.S.D.A. Grading and Inspection Service, Chicago.
