Department of Dairy Industries, University of Minnesota, Saint Paul
ABSTRACT
The University of Arizona hosted the 59th Annual Meeting of the American Dairy Science Association in typical Southwest hospitality. Its beautiful campus and the exciting skyline of the Santa Catalina Mountains provided a most scenic setting. Members and visitors were thrilled by the changing colors of Arizona canyons, the lovely paloverde trees, and the majestic saguaro cacti standing in the spectacular colors of the sunset.
The University of Arizona with its 10 colleges and 63 departments, offering the bachelor's degree in 175 areas, the master's degree in 70, and the doctor's degree in 71 areas, is truly one of the great land-grant institutions.
The staff members and their wives in the College of Agriculture were most gracious hosts and hostesses.
The festivities for Sunday, June 21, included an enjoyable reunion for members and their families and the student affiliate reception in the Memorial Union.
The Past-Presidents' dinner was attended by ten past executives, with President S. T. Coulter and the Executive Board.
