W. H. Martin Honored at Kansas

PROFESSOR W. H. MARTIN, a member of the Department of Dairy Science at Kansas State University for more than 30 years, was honored by the Kansas Interbreed Dairy Cattle Council recently. WALTER HAND, president of the Council, presented a portrait of Professor Martin to Kansas State University.

As part of the program dedicating Leland Call Hall, the new Dairy and Poultry Science Building, Dr. S. T. COULTER, Head of the Department of Dairy Industries at the University of Minnesota and President of the American Dairy Science Association, addressed a joint meeting of the Kansas Interbreed Council and the Kansas Dairy Technology Society on the subject, OUR CHANGING INDUSTRY. This meeting was held March 7, 1964.

T. H. Blosser Named Chairman of Animal Sciences at WSU

DR. T. H. BLOSSER, professor of dairy science, has been appointed chairman of the Department of Animal Sciences at Washington State University, effective April 1.
