Nominations for Officers of the American Dairy Science Association

ABSTRACT

The Nominating Committee has selected F. Eugene Nelson and B. H. Webb from the Manufacturing Section as candidates for the office of vice-president; CD. McGrew and H. W. Anderson from the Extension Section for the office of one directorship; and H. P. Ewalt and C. L. Pelissier from the Extension Section for the other directorship.

Biographical Information

F. EUGENE NELSON

Born in Iowa in 1909. B. S., 1932, and M. S., 1934, University of Minnesota; Ph.D., 1936, Iowa State University.

Discount bookkeeper, First National Bank, Omaha, Nebr., 1926–8. Instructor, University of Minnesota, 1936–7. Assistant and Associate Professor, Kansas State University, 1937–43. Professor of Dairy Bacteriology, Iowa State University, 1943–60. Professor of Dairy Science, University of Arizona, 1960 to date. Major interest is in microbiology of dairy and other food products and in training of students in these areas.

Member A.D.S.A. since 1936. Editor JOURNAL OF DAIRY SCIENCE, 1947–52. Recipient, Borden Award, Dairy Manufacturing, 1953.
