ABSTRACT

The JOURNAL Management Committee conducted business by mail and telephone during the year and assembled in Tucson, June 19, 1964, for a final discussion of problems. C. J. Cruse of The Garrard Press was present for this meeting.

During the year committee member's served the Editor-in-Chief in an advisory capacity on several occasions, such as reviewing papers that concerned the Association.

1. Final actions of the committee during the year were as follows:
   
   1. The new cover for the Journal was approved by the Committee and by the Board of Directors and was scheduled to appear on the January 1964 issue. Increased cost is estimated at $523 per year. It is anticipated that this cover will improve reader and advertising appeal and more than compensate for the increased cost.
      
   2. The summary for each paper will be designated as an abstract beginning with Volume 48.
      
   3. Twenty-five copies of reprints of memorials that appear in the Journal will be given to families of the deceased.
