ABSTRACT

Incubated adrenal gland homogenates from normal cows and cows with cystic ovaries converted 4-C14 progesterone to adrenal corticoids at similar rates. Homogenates from cows with cysts converted 1-C14 acetate to steroid-like materials at a much slower rate than those from normal animals.
